The Brian L Rogers Sr & Jr Memorial Golf Tournament originated from the vision of our mother Mary Catherine Rogers, who sought to create a meaningful tribute to her late husband, Brian L Rogers Sr, by supporting Catholic education at Seton Hall Preparatory School.
Following the passing of their eldest son, Brian L Rogers Jr, in 2023, the tournament was renamed in his honor. In March 2025, our family experienced the passing of Mary Catherine, affectionately known as, “Mair”, and endeared to her family as “Queen Mair”. Her unwavering commitment to family, faith and the spirit of perseverance continues to inspire the ongoing success of this tournament.
Seton Hall Preparatory School holds significant importance for our family. Brian Sr. and all seven sons attended The Prep and Mary Catherine was bestowed an honorary degree in recognition of her support and dedication to the school.
In collaboration with Seton Hall Preparatory School, we have established The Brian L. Rogers Sr. and Jr. Memorial Scholarship. The net proceeds from today’s fundraiser will contribute to the endowment of this scholarship at Seton Hall Preparatory School, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A portion of your contribution is tax deductible.
